Man Tries to Sneak Onto Delta Flight with Stolen Ticket Image

A bizarre incident unfolded at Salt Lake City International Airport as a 26-year-old Texan, Wicliff Yves Fleurizard, found himself embroiled in a felony charge of stowing away on an aircraft.
The allegations stem from an audacious attempt to sneak onto a Delta flight bound for Austin, Texas, by surreptitiously photographing another passenger’s boarding pass. According to a complaint filed in a Utah district court, security footage purportedly captures Fleurizard discreetly snapping pictures of passengers and boarding passes.
Exploiting a moment when fellow travelers were distracted, he seized the opportunity to capture the necessary information. As boarding commenced for the Austin-bound flight, Fleurizard managed to slip onto the aircraft unnoticed.
His maneuvers took him to the front lavatory, where he remained for an extended period as passengers filled the cabin. Only after the doors were secured did he emerge, making his way to the rear of the plane and entering another lavatory.
As boarding commenced, Fleurizard slipped onto the aircraft and retreated to the front lavatory, where he remained for an extended period while other passengers settled into their seats. It wasn’t until the flight was fully boarded and underway that his audacious plan began to unravel.
With no available seats left, a vigilant flight attendant approached Fleurizard, who claimed seat 21F was his. However, upon verification, it was discovered that the legitimate ticket holder was already seated in that spot. Suspicion grew as crew members realized Fleurizard’s name wasn’t on the passenger manifest.
As the aircraft returned to the gate, law enforcement officers awaited Fleurizard’s arrival. Delta Airlines, in cooperation with authorities, is actively involved in the investigation into this alarming breach of security.
