Etihad and TAP Air Portugal codeshare opens up exciting new destinations

A strategic codeshare between Etihad Airways and TAP Air Portugal enables improved connectivity for both airlines’ customers on a number of destinations within each other’s networks.

This agreement is the most recent in Etihad’s goal to support Abu Dhabi’s cultural and economic development by increasing the number of visitors to its homeland and providing them with enhanced travel benefits and even more cherished experiences.

Through this partnership, Etihad’s customers will have simple, one-stop access to a wide range of fascinating locations throughout the TAP network. These include well-known American cities San Francisco and Miami, as well as Brazilian cities Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.

In addition, one of the stunning destinations made possible by this partnership is the charming African resort island of São Tomé. Clients can also connect with Madeira, Malaga, Seville, and Valencia in Europe, as well as Marrakech and Dakar in Africa.

Through Frankfurt and London Heathrow, Etihad and TAP customers will be able to connect to each other’s networks, building on the start of Etihad’s nonstop services to Lisbon earlier this year.

Customers will have easier access to Etihad’s network as well as Abu Dhabi’s captivating array of attractions, which include the magnificent structure that is the Louvre Abu Dhabi and the exhilarating adventures that await at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi.
