Cathay Pacific's Summer 2025 Expansion: New Dallas Route & 16 Daily Flights in North America

Cathay Pacific is gearing up for a major expansion of its North American network next year, with plans to launch new routes and increase the frequency of existing services.

The airline is set to introduce a brand-new service between Hong Kong and Dallas, starting April 24, 2025. This new route will operate four return flights per week using the state-of-the-art Airbus A350-1000 aircraft, further enhancing Cathay Pacific’s reach across the U.S.

According to OAG data, Cathay Pacific’s expanded plan for next summer includes an impressive total of up to 109 weekly take-offs, translating into 15 to 16 daily flights. By May, the airline will be offering 108 return flights per week, covering a wide range of destinations across the U.S. and Canada.

The expansion includes three daily return flights to major hubs like New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, along with a daily return service to both Boston and Chicago. The new Dallas route will connect Cathay Pacific passengers to over 190 domestic destinations in the U.S. and 11 destinations in Central and South America, thanks to connections at the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, one of the busiest airports in the world.
