Passenger Asks Pilot to Turn Back Plane After Losing Phone at Airport

In an unusual turn of events, a Frontier Airlines flight from San Diego (SAN) to Las Vegas (LAS) was disrupted when a passenger insisted the aircraft return to the gate to retrieve her forgotten cell phone. As reported by Viewfromthewing.

The incident, which occurred on October 12, quickly gained attention after a fellow passenger shared a video of the outburst on TikTok, amassing over 300,000 views.

In the viral clip, the disgruntled passenger can be heard making wild claims, declaring, “If I was white and in a suit, you would stop the fing plane.” As she continued her rant, she proclaimed, “Laugh now, I am the President of this whole godd country.

It’s a damn bonafide word.” The woman asserted that her long-standing loyalty to Frontier Airlines, claiming to be a customer for eight years, warranted her demands for the flight to turn around. She also insisted that she was the ruler of all seven continents.

As the passenger became increasingly agitated, she issued threats, stating that those who mocked her would be “shipped out on a boat” or “expired.”

A flight attendant attempted to defuse the situation, calmly explaining that the plane could not return to the gate for her phone. This only fueled her anger, as she clapped back, “That’s a lie from the pit of hell.” She demanded the flight attendant’s name, which was provided, but the woman continued to argue.

Accusing the airline staff of disrespect due to racial discrimination and her attire, she insisted, “Don’t tell me you had enough to stop, tell the pilot to not go. You just released him from the bank. I saw it out the window. I know it was in my heart.”

Her claims became more outlandish as she declared, “I am an affirmed sovereign ruler here in the government,” further insisting that she owned the seven continents. Despite the escalating drama, she eventually sat down, allowing the flight crew member to walk away.

It remains unclear if the flight was significantly delayed or canceled due to her outburst. An aviation blog noted that a flight on the same route arrived 30 minutes late on October 12, while another flight was canceled the following day for unspecified reasons.
