Over 2,000 Job Opportunities Await at Hong Kong International Airport

Exciting career opportunities await the youth at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA)! The Airport Youth Career Day 2024 kicked off today, bringing together over 30 companies from the airport community, offering more than 2,000 job openings in a range of fields including ground services, aircraft maintenance, aviation security, and more.

This two-day event is a golden opportunity for aspiring aviation professionals to explore diverse career paths and gain valuable insights into the aviation industry.

Organized jointly by the Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK), the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Welfare Council, and the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, the event is designed to connect job seekers with top employers in the aviation sector.

With a wide array of roles available, attendees can discover exciting career possibilities while learning about the latest trends in the industry.

The event features interactive recruitment booths and career talks led by company representatives. These sessions will cover key topics such as career development, the latest employment trends in aviation, and essential job-seeking advice.

Additionally, job seekers can receive practical tips on preparing their CVs, improving their interview skills, and even getting professional CV photos taken.

In line with its commitment to supporting job seekers, AAHK has launched a new recruitment website, the Hong Kong International Airport Career Page, designed to provide job seekers with the latest vacancies at HKIA.

The platform utilizes AI technology to offer personalized suggestions for CV and interview preparation, as well as valuable market information on salary trends to guide candidates in their job search.

The Airport Youth Career Day 2024 runs until 14 December, from 10 am to 5 pm, at the 10/F HKIA Community Building, offering a fantastic opportunity for young professionals to network with industry leaders and explore a wide range of career opportunities at one of the world’s busiest and most dynamic airports.
