Emirates confirms these two cities as the next A350 destinations after Edinburgh

Emirates has announced Kuwait and Bahrain as the next destinations for its cutting-edge Airbus A350 aircraft, following Edinburgh.
Starting January 8, 2025, the airline will enhance its services to these cities, marking them as the second and third destinations for its newest aircraft. The move underscores Emirates’ commitment to modernizing its fleet and providing an elevated travel experience across its network.

The Airbus A350 will operate on select services to Kuwait and Bahrain. For Kuwait, the A350 will be deployed on flights EK853 and EK854. Flight EK853 will depart Dubai at 01:25, arriving in Kuwait at 02:15, while the return flight, EK854, will leave Kuwait at 03:40, landing back in Dubai at 06:25.
For Bahrain, the A350 will serve two of the three daily flights, EK837/838 and EK839/840. EK837 departs Dubai at 08:20, arriving in Bahrain at 08:40, with the return EK838 leaving Bahrain at 10:00 and arriving in Dubai at 12:15. The second flight, EK839, departs Dubai at 16:00 and arrives in Bahrain at 16:20, with EK840 returning from Bahrain at 17:45 and landing in Dubai at 20:00.

Passengers traveling on the A350 to these destinations will enjoy its state-of-the-art features. The aircraft offers 312 seats in a three-class configuration, with 32 next-generation Business Class lie-flat seats in a 1-2-1 layout, 21 Premium Economy seats in a 2-3-2 arrangement, and 259 Economy Class seats in a 3-3-3 configuration.
The A350 also boasts enhanced cabin features, including high ceilings, wider aisles, and advanced technology, such as faster Wi-Fi and the latest version of Emirates’ ice inflight entertainment system.
Emirates has a long history of serving both Kuwait and Bahrain. The airline has been operating flights to Kuwait since 1989 and currently offers 29 weekly services.

The deployment of the A350 on the Kuwait route follows the introduction of the retrofitted Boeing 777 in October 2024, which features Premium Economy cabins and newly designed Business Class seats. Meanwhile, Bahrain is served by 22 weekly flights, now operated by a mix of Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 aircraft.
With the addition of Kuwait and Bahrain to its A350 network, Emirates continues to raise the bar for passenger experience. These upgrades reflect the airline’s dedication to innovation, comfort, and excellence, ensuring passengers enjoy a superior journey on every flight.
