Dead Body Discovered in Landing Gear of United Airlines Plane

On Christmas Eve, a grim discovery was made in Maui, Hawaii. A deceased individual was found inside the wheel well of a United Airlines plane after its arrival from Chicago. The incident has sparked widespread concern and raised questions about airport security.
United Airlines Flight 202 departed from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport at 9:49 a.m. on December 24 and landed at Maui’s Kahului Airport at 2:12 p.m. Upon inspection after landing, the body was discovered in the landing gear area of the Boeing 787-10.

United Airlines confirmed that the wheel well is only accessible from outside the aircraft. “It is currently unclear how or when the individual accessed this restricted area,” the airline said in a statement.
The Maui Police Department is actively investigating the case and stated, “No further details are available at this time.”
The discovery has heightened concerns about the security of restricted areas at airports. Authorities are now working to determine how the individual managed to breach security and enter such a dangerous part of the plane.

Experts note that stowing away in a plane’s wheel well is extremely hazardous. At cruising altitudes, temperatures plummet below freezing, and oxygen levels drop significantly, making survival nearly impossible.
United Airlines is fully cooperating with law enforcement to uncover the circumstances behind this tragic event and explore measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
