Air travel is often seen as a gateway to explore new horizons, but maintaining proper etiquette onboard remains a crucial part of the journey.

A recent incident aboard a Thailand-bound flight has sparked a heated debate about the travel behavior of Indian passengers, bringing the spotlight back onto the importance of respecting rules and safety protocols during flights.

A video shared on Instagram by user Ankit Kumar captures the disorderly behavior of passengers on a Thai AirAsia flight.

The footage shows passengers standing in the aisles, eating, and chatting despite repeated announcements from the cabin crew urging them to remain seated for safety reasons. The blatant disregard for these requests highlighted a growing concern about the lack of civic sense among certain travelers.

The video also reveals scenes of overcrowded aisles, with groups of passengers freely moving about mid-flight, ignoring the airline’s safety guidelines.

Despite persistent reminders from the crew to return to their seats, the requests were largely ignored. The airline refrained from escalating the situation with stricter actions.

Frustrated by the situation, Ankit Kumar added a sharp commentary to his post, stating, “Put them on a train.” His video quickly gained traction online, igniting a flurry of reactions and debates about travel etiquette.

Social media users expressed mixed reactions, with many criticizing the passengers’ actions. Comments such as “Money doesn’t get you class!” and “Indians need to learn civic sense first, then go among normal people” echoed widespread discontent. Others called for better awareness and education on maintaining decorum while traveling.
