Pakistani Politician’s Daughter Assaults Air Hostess, Leaves Her with Broken Teeth

In yet another shocking display of power and impunity, a flight attendant on Serene Air was left with a bloodied nose and broken teeth after being brutally assaulted by the daughter of a former top bureaucrat.
The horrifying incident, which took place aboard Serene Air flight ER540 from Quetta to Islamabad on March 18, has sparked public outrage after visuals of the attack surfaced online a day later.
The assailant, identified as Saima Jogezai, daughter of former Quetta commissioner Iftikhar Ahmed, allegedly lashed out when asked to fasten her seatbelt before takeoff. Reports indicate that both Saima and her father, who appeared intoxicated, misbehaved with airline staff even before boarding.
According to multiple sources, the situation escalated when Saima verbally abused and then physically attacked a flight attendant, punching her in the face. The pilot immediately halted the takeoff, and Airport Security Force (ASF) personnel detained both individuals. However, in a shocking turn of events, no legal action was taken.
Despite the violent nature of the attack, pressure from influential figures allegedly forced Serene Air to settle the matter with a mere written apology. Both Saima and her father were released without consequences.
Public Outrage Over VIP Privilege
Footage of the shocking assault emerged on March 19, igniting massive backlash on social media. Many criticized the airline and authorities for allowing the perpetrators to walk free. Meanwhile, the injured flight attendant was rushed to a hospital for medical treatment.
Sources claim that the Balochistan administration intervened to hush up the matter, once again highlighting the deep-rooted issue of VIP culture and its unchecked power in Pakistan. While ordinary citizens face legal repercussions for minor offenses, powerful individuals continue to escape accountability—even in cases of outright violence.
As outrage continues to grow, the public is demanding justice for the assaulted air hostess and questioning why such blatant abuse of power goes unpunished. Will the authorities take action this time, or will this too be buried under political pressure?
