Woman Arrested Twice for Attempting to Board Delta Flight in Seattle Without a Ticket

In a bizarre and alarming series of events, a woman managed to board a Delta Air Lines flight at Seattle–Tacoma International Airport (SEA) without a ticket, only to be arrested.

Shockingly, just three days later, she attempted the same stunt again. This incident has raised serious concerns about airport security and the measures in place to prevent unauthorized access to flights.

The woman’s first attempt was thwarted when she was spotted by TSA near Checkpoint 3. Authorities quickly responded, with the Port of Seattle Police Department (POSPD) providing support.

Police determined she had no legitimate reason to be in the airport and arrested her for trespassing. Despite not passing through any security checkpoints, she was apprehended by law enforcement after attempting to board the Delta flight without a ticket.

Delta Air Lines confirmed the incident, stating that its staff followed proper procedures by removing the unticketed passenger and having her arrested. The airline also confirmed that the flight was delayed for over two hours as TSA conducted additional security checks and rescreened all passengers.

“As there are no matters more important than safety and security, Delta people followed procedures to have an unticketed passenger removed from the flight and then apprehended,” the airline said in a statement.

Three days later, the woman returned to SEA with the same intent, trying once again to board a flight without a ticket. Her persistence raised serious questions about the airport’s security and whether proper safeguards are in place to prevent such incidents.

Despite the heightened attention surrounding the woman’s behavior, it is clear that unauthorized access to flights remains a significant challenge for airport authorities.
