Air France Adds 8 New Routes and 5 Destinations to Winter Schedule

Following a busy summer supporting the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Air France is gearing up for the winter 2024-2025 season by expanding its global network.

From November 2024 to March 2025, the airline will serve 169 destinations in 73 countries, including 85 long-haul and 84 short- and medium-haul routes. As part of this expansion, Air France is adding 8 new routes and introducing 5 exciting new destinations.

In its long-haul network, Air France will launch flights to four new destinations. Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, will be served three times weekly starting November 18, 2024, as an extension of its flights to Zanzibar, marking Air France’s 26th destination in Africa.

Salvador de Bahia, Brazil, will also be added on October 28, 2024, with three weekly flights, expanding the airline’s presence in Brazil to five cities. Additionally, Manila, Philippines, will see new service from December 7, 2024, complementing Air France-KLM’s existing network to the region. Finally, Air France will offer limited-time service to Malé, Maldives, during the holiday season, with flights from December 20, 2024, to January 5, 2025.

In the U.S., Air France will continue expanding its reach by extending seasonal services to Denver and Phoenix into the winter months, offering three weekly flights to each city. This will bring the airline’s North American network to 235 weekly flights to 23 destinations.

On the short- and medium-haul side, Air France will further enhance its service to Northern Europe by adding Kiruna, Sweden, to its schedule. This new route marks the airline’s 5th destination in Lapland, with weekly flights between December 2024 and March 2025.

The airline will also bolster service through its partnership with SAS, adding access to 33 new destinations across Northern Europe via key hubs in Copenhagen, Oslo, and Stockholm. As part of its premium strategy, Air France is rolling out new travel cabins on both long-haul and regional flights, offering enhanced comfort and connectivity. These upgrades will be available on Airbus A350-900, Boeing 777-300ER, and Embraer 190 aircraft.
