“The Air India Express font on the livery will resemble the new ‘Air India Sans’ font. Similar to the present Air India Express aircraft, the tail pattern will have a variety of styles. When the airline receives its first brand-new Boeing 737 Max aircraft in October, the first plane with the new marking will take to the skies.

The aeroplane demonstrating the new appearance is being given two possibilities. The Airbus A320neo, which is currently being moved to AI Express, is one example. The second is the potential for the branding to be revealed on the Boeing 737 Max that will be delivered in October. The original Boeing 737 Max will have its paint job done in India. As a result, a choice about the first aircraft will be made closer to the launch date, according to a second official.

The rebranding of Air India Express will be handled by UK-based brand agency FutureBrands. Last Monday, FutureBrands introduced the new Air India brand identity. On August 11, 2023, Air India unveiled its new logo, the “vista,” a golden window that symbolizes the airline’s boundless potential as a full-service, global carrier. Purple, red, and golden are the predominant colours, and the pattern is taken directly from the former Konark wheel emblem of Air India.
