Airbus to Recruit  2,000 engineers from India

Global aerospace giant Airbus plans to hire 2,000 engineers from India over the next two years, bringing their total to 5,000. The company views India as a “talent hub” and not merely a market, according to Rémi Maillard, president of Airbus India and MD of South Asia.

Airbus and the Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV), Vadodara, inked an MoU, clearing the way for the introduction of a new engineering programme for the aerospace industry. According to Malliard, as a business committed to fostering India’s aerospace industry, they are aware of their need to make investments in the advancement of human capital.

He continued by saying that the collaboration with Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya will create a solid pipeline of skilled workers who would be prepared for the future to work in the nation’s quickly expanding aerospace sector.
