Alaska Airlines Introduces West Coast-Inspired Menu for Premium Dining this Spring

Alaska is bringing in the springtime with a chef-curated, freshly-prepared in-flight meal that will be added to the premium food and beverage lineup this month!
Being the premium West Coast airline, it is infusing foods with a strong Latin American and Asian culinary influence while maintaining a distinctive West Coast flavor.
First Class:
BBQ Beef & Kimchi Rice: Indulge in the smoky flavors of burnt ends BBQ beef, served atop a bed of savory kimchi fried rice and garnished with fresh green onions.
Birria Beef: Savor tender braised, boneless beef immersed in flavorful consommé, accompanied by marinated black beans and long grain rice infused with rich cumin, tomato, and lime. Topped with a zesty pico de gallo salsa.
Thai Curry (Vegan/Gluten Free): Experience the authentic taste of Thai green curry, prepared with creamy coconut milk, ginger, garlic, lemongrass, and kaffir lime. Complemented by coconut shoots, green papaya, Thai basil, and red chili, alongside vegan meatballs crafted from heart of palm. Served over steamed Jasmine rice.
Tortellini (exclusive to Hawaii): Delight in four-cheese tortellini enveloped in a tangy miso sauce, accompanied by roasted butternut squash, edamame, and fresh arugula.
Banana Bread French Toast: Indulge in thick slices of banana bread transformed into French toast, drizzled with tantalizing tamarind caramel sauce. Served alongside creamy scrambled eggs and pecan candied pork bacon.
Island Pancakes (exclusive to Hawaii): Savor the unique flavors of Ube (purple sweet potato) pancakes adorned with toasted shaved coconut, roasted pineapple, and grilled Portuguese pork sausage. Finished with a delightful guava and mint syrup.
