Bombardier Starts Production of Key Parts for the Global 8000 Prototype

Bombardier has officially begun manufacturing major structural components for the first Global 8000 production jet, with work underway at its facilities in Saint-Laurent, Québec, Red Oak, Texas, and Querétaro, Mexico.

Set to enter service in the second half of 2025, the Global 8000 will claim its spot as the world’s fastest and longest-range purpose-built business jet, promising an unparalleled combination of speed, range, and comfort.

The Global 8000 continues to excel in flight testing, showing impressive results across all stages. With an industry-leading range of 8,000 nautical miles and a top speed of Mach 0.94, this business jet opens new possibilities, connecting city pairs like Dubai-Houston, Singapore-Los Angeles, and London-Perth without any stops.

Designed with four true living spaces and a dedicated crew rest area, the aircraft ensures long-haul flights are as comfortable as possible. It also boasts the most spacious cabin in its class, emphasizing passenger health and comfort.

The in-flight experience of the Global 8000 stands out, incorporating luxurious features initially introduced on the Global 7500. Passengers can enjoy an available Principal Suite with a full-size bed and a stand-up shower in the En-suite, providing a home-like comfort at 40,000 feet.

Advanced cabin technology, including the nice Touch CMS and OLED touch dial, as well as Bombardier’s l’Opéra directional audio system, enhances entertainment and connectivity, ensuring an unrivaled experience onboard.

Ahead of its official debut, existing Global 7500 owners can opt for an upgrade that boosts their jet’s top speed, extends its range, and enhances cabin comfort with lower altitudes. This upgrade, available through Bombardier’s service centers, bridges the gap between the Global 7500 and the upcoming flagship, Global 8000.
