Emirates and Azul expand partnership to offer joint loyalty programme benefits

A reciprocal loyalty programme offering has been launched by Emirates and Azul Linhas Aereas Brasileiras S.A. (Azul), elevating their partnership to new heights.

Now, Miles can be earned and redeemed at over 290 destinations worldwide by members of both TudoAzul and Emirates Skywards frequent flyer programmes. Through their codeshare agreement, the two airlines began serving customers in 2021, offering improved connectivity via Sao Paulo to/from eight Brazilian cities to Emirates’ global network.

More opportunities to “earn and burn” Miles

As per the agreement, members of Emirates Skywards can accrue Miles while traversing Azul’s extensive network, spanning over 150 destinations. When flying in Economy class, Skywards members can accrue up to 1 Skywards Mile, and when flying in Business class, they can accrue up to 1.5 Skywards Miles per mile.

Additionally, members can use their points to redeem flights in Azul Business Class (with a one-way reward ticket starting at 17,500 Miles) and Azul Economy Class (with a starting point of 8,000 Miles) on emirates.com.

Members of TudoAzul will also be able to accrue Miles by travelling to over 130 locations on six continents through Emirates’ extensive global network through this partnership. * Azul members are also eligible for flight benefits on Emirates Business and Economy Class cabins.

Emirates currently operates a daily A380 service to Sao Paulo, featuring its highly lauded Premium Economy cabin. The airline also operates a Boeing 777-300ER service between Dubai and Rio de Janeiro, which also connects travellers onwards to Buenos Aires.

Over 30 million people worldwide are members of Emirates Skywards. The loyalty programme offers four tiers of membership – Blue, Silver, Gold and Platinum – with each tier earning exclusive privileges, including: airport lounge access, instant flight upgrades, priority check-in and boarding, complimentary seat selection, excess baggage allowance, preferential Cash+Miles rates, and complimentary Wi-Fi internet on-board.
