Although he faced obstacles, such as late submission of fundamental criteria preventing him from enrolling in college, Abubakar embraced the opportunities that came his way.

Starting as an airplane cleaner, Abubakar’s hard work and commitment did not go unnoticed. He steadily climbed the ranks, progressing from ground staff to the prestigious position of a cabin crew member. While the pay was significantly higher as a flight attendant, Abubakar’s aspirations were far from satisfied, as his ultimate dream was to become a pilot.

His journey took a pivotal turn when he seized the opportunity to enroll in a pilot training program in Canada, facilitated by his managing director. Abubakar earned his private pilot’s license and, with unwavering determination, continued his pursuit by obtaining a commercial pilot’s license. Currently employed by Azman Air Services Limited in Kano, Nigeria, Abubakar has not only realized his dream but has also been promoted to the esteemed position of captain.
