Indonesia's newest airline, BBN Airlines Receives Air Operator Certificate

BBN Airlines Indonesia, an Avia Solutions Group company, has joined the Indonesian aviation market, specialising in ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance), air charter, and air freight services. This is a one-of-a-kind contribution to Indonesia’s aviation scene, where ACMI services are limited.

BBN Airlines Indonesia has been granted its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Transportation Republic Indonesia, on August 31, 2023,allowing it to perform commercial flights.

Beginning with two Boeing 737-800Fs, BBN Airlines Indonesia will provide air freight services. By the end of 2023, the company intends to have nine aircraft in its fleet, providing both passenger and air freight services. They stand out in the Asian market through their focus on ACMI services, which include wet leasing and mixed-crews that are customized to clients’ individual demands and that are airworthy maintained, crewed by qualified personnel, and insurance.

This AOC demonstrates our commitment to meeting Indonesia’s aviation requirements, including those of airlines, tour operators, cargo, and logistics. High market demand causes surges in the distribution of cargo, particularly at peak times like Umrah, Hajj, Eid, and other festivals.
