PAL-V to Launch Final Assembly Center for Flying Cars at Breda Airport
PAL-V, a leader in FlyDrive mobility solutions, and Forum Group, the owner of Breda International Airport, are excited to announce the signing of a Letter of Intent (LOI) to establish an Assembly and Delivery Center at Breda International Airport.
Located in the south of the Netherlands between major European hubs like Rotterdam and Antwerp, the airport is at the forefront of regional airport innovation.
Forum Group’s management is spearheading a strategy to revamp the airfield into a mobility innovation hub. As part of this LOI, Breda International Airport will become the first European airport to host a dedicated PAL-V Assembly and Delivery Center.
This strategic partnership will facilitate the rollout of PAL-V FlyDrive vehicles, or flying cars, as they approach air certification and commercial availability. The new facility will serve as a central hub for final assembly, customer demonstrations, flight training, and pre-delivery inspections, playing a crucial role in PAL-V’s global operations.
To support the production start-up, global expansion, and the forthcoming delivery of the Liberty model, PAL-V is finalizing a funding package that includes international strategic investors alongside a final round of Dutch private investors.
In addition to flight training, PAL-V will use Breda Airport as a testing ground for the ongoing development of their PAL-V Liberty platform, which is set to feature advancements in clean tech drivetrains and other emerging technologies.
