PIA Another Flight Attendant Goes Missing in Canada, leaves a note

In a concerning recurrence of incidents, another Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight attendant, has gone missing in Canada.

Maryam Raza was revealed as the air hostess. On PIA flight PK-782 from Islamabad, she touched down in Toronto, Canada on Monday. PIA spokesperson disclosed, “The air hostess was deputed at PIA flight PK 781. She vanished in Toronto when the flight landed at Toronto airport.” Authorities have promptly informed Canadian officials, urging them to take necessary actions.

When authorities and partners searched Raza’s hotel room during a layover in Canada, they found an Urdu message that said, “Thank you, PIA.” There was also Raza’s airline uniform in the room. This is the tenth time a PIA flight attendant has vanished while on a layover in Canada.

The airline is not taking the matter lightly and has affirmed that they possess an affidavit from the missing flight attendant. They are prepared to initiate disciplinary action against her and are also considering involving the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to address the situation.

Notably, this incident contributes to an alarming trend for Pakistan International Airlines, with at least eight flight attendants having disappeared during layovers in Canada over the past two years. Despite confirming that they won’t be rehiring the missing air hostess and crew, PIA remains unable to locate Mukhtar, who failed to report for duty.
