Qatar Airways Partner with China Southern Airlines Unveils New Route to Doha
Qatar Airways’ codeshare partner, China Southern Airlines, has announced a new route to Doha from Guangzhou, with four weekly direct flights beginning on April 22, 2024. The new direct flights will be operated by the airline’s modern Boeing 787 fleet.
With 3,000 daily flights to more than 200 destinations worldwide, China Southern Airlines is among the biggest airlines in China when it comes to passenger capacity. Based on the solid economic relations that exist between China and Qatar, the new flight schedule solidifies the strategic partnership between China Southern Airlines and Qatar Airways. China Southern joins Cathay Pacific and Xiamen Airlines as Qatar Airways’ other two codeshare partners in China.
With seamless connections and more options to important locations in Africa, the Middle East, and Europe, China Southern Airlines’ new flights link travellers to Qatar Airways’ extensive global network of over 170 destinations via its renowned hub, Hamad International Airport. By connecting the networks, the two partner airlines hope to increase travel to and from China for business and pleasure, further solidifying their connection.
The new flights by China Southern Airlines ideally complement Qatar Airways’ existing daily flight between Doha and Guangzhou.
The flights are open for booking as of today.
