Akasa Air expands its international presence; adds Jeddah as second destination

The fastest-growing airline in India, Akasa Air, increased its worldwide footprint by adding Jeddah as its second foreign destination.

Akasa Air will begin daily direct flights between Jeddah and Mumbai on July 15, 2024. By July 21, 2024, this connectivity would be further improved to twelve daily direct flights.

Beginning on July 20, 2024, two weekly direct flights will operate between Ahmedabad and Jeddah when operations from Mumbai are launched. Bookings for flights are now open on Akasa Air’s website www.akasaair.com, Android and iOS app and through multiple leading OTAs.

Additionally, Akasa Air has been given permission to operate flights to Kuwait and Riyadh, two more international locations. In the upcoming months, the airline plans to significantly increase its worldwide footprint.
