Etihad Airways announces new flights to Al Alamein, Egypt

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, has unveiled a new destination for travelers, with direct flights to Al Alamein (DBB), the gateway to Egypt’s breathtaking northern Mediterranean coast.

This new route, debuting in July 2025, will connect holidaymakers to Egypt’s vibrant Al Sahel region, a destination celebrated for its picturesque beaches, pristine waters, and rich historical legacy.

Located within reach of the ancient city of Alexandria, Al Sahel has become a sought-after spot for leisure travelers. With this expansion, Etihad will make it easier for visitors from the UAE, the Gulf region, and beyond to experience Egypt’s Mediterranean allure and explore Al Alamein’s famous historic landmarks and museums.

The new route will operate twice weekly, on Thursdays and Sundays, offering guests a comfortable journey aboard Etihad’s modern Airbus A320 aircraft.

With eight seats in Business and 150 in Economy, travelers can look forward to Etihad’s renowned service as they embark on this Mediterranean adventure.

This latest route announcement reflects Etihad’s ongoing growth, with more new destinations expected before the year’s end. Flights are already available for booking, bringing Al Alamein within reach for those ready to explore Egypt’s coastal beauty and history.
