British Airways Boosts Codeshare Destinations with IndiGo and LATAM Airlines

British Airways is thrilled to announce a major expansion of its codeshare partnership with IndiGo, one of India’s leading low-cost carriers (LCC). This exciting development is set to enhance travel options for customers eager to explore the vibrant and diverse destinations across India.

• Seamless Travel Experience: British Airways passengers flying from London or any location within its global network can now easily connect to a wide range of domestic destinations in India, facilitated by IndiGo’s extensive reach.
• Simplified Booking: Travelers can book all their flights on a single ticket, making the travel experience smoother and more convenient. This integration ensures hassle-free baggage transfers and greater peace of mind while navigating through India.
• Booking Availability: For those planning their next adventure, codeshare tickets are now available for booking, with travel dates starting from September 30, 2024.

Broader Commitment to Connectivity:

In addition to this partnership with IndiGo, British Airways is enhancing its footprint in the Southern Hemisphere. The airline is set to double down on its presence in Brazil by increasing flight frequencies to São Paulo and strengthening its collaboration with LATAM Airlines.

• Increased Flight Frequency: Starting on October 27, British Airways will boost its flight frequency between London Heathrow and São Paulo for the winter 2024 season. Currently, BA also operates flights to Rio de Janeiro.
• Expanded Codeshare Access: By expanding its codeshare partnership with LATAM, British Airways aims to provide its passengers with connectivity to 14 destinations across Brazil. This expansion results in a total of 20 routes available as codeshare options for travel from London Heathrow, with connections in both São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
