Emirates’ Premium Economy to extend to São Paulo and Tokyo Narita

 Emirates announced that two more locations in its network—Sao Paulo starting on November 19 and Tokyo Narita starting on December 20—will begin to provide its popular Premium Economy service.

While Tokyo Narita will become the second gateway in Emirates’ Far Eastern network and the fifth point in the airline’s North and South American network where flights will operate with the new cabin class, featuring extra legroom, premium features, and amenities, Sao Paulo will become the fifth point in the airline’s North and South American network.

Emirates’ Premium Economy seats are now available for purchase on flights between Dubai and Sao Paulo beginning on November 19. These flights will first depart three times per week before increasing to daily service in December. On flights EK318/319 to and from Tokyo Narita, Premium Economy will be made available every day starting on December 20.

The aircraft, which will be used on the routes in a four-class configuration, will have 338 seats in Economy Class, 76 in Business Class, and 14 First Class suites in addition to 56 Premium Economy seats, which are arranged in a 2-4-2 layout at the front of the main deck.

Sao Paulo will become the 13th city where Emirates will operate its newly retrofitted flagship A380 aircraft, while the number of points offering Premium Economy will increase to 14 with the addition of Tokyo Narita as the airline’s retrofit programme picks up speed and the product expands to more routes on its network.
