The airline had 316 aircraft in service as of June, a mix of Airbus and ATR-72 models. Turkish Airlines is wet-leasing two Boeing 777 aeroplanes to the carrier. Additionally, IndiGo is adopting a policy that will allow ATR-72 pilots to switch over to the Airbus fleet. The largest ATR-72 operator in India, IndiGo, runs 39 of the aircraft.

With captains exiting the airline to work for other companies after completing their three-year service commitments, IndiGo is experiencing a pilot shortage on its ATR aircraft.
