According to the report from CNBC “Hainan Airlines is offering passengers on select routes the opportunity to use Rokid’s augmented reality (AR) glasses for in-flight entertainment, free of charge. This partnership marks a significant milestone, as Rokid claims it’s the first time AR glasses have been utilized on flights at such a large scale.”

Now, with these state-of-the-art glasses, travellers can fully immerse themselves in an entertainment experience. Bypassing the conventional built-in monitors, travellers can have a customised entertainment experience that includes 3D movie viewing, e-book reading, and basic gaming.

Hainan Airlines and Rokid’s partnership is just getting started.
