This comprehensive analysis sheds light on the performance of airlines across the globe, highlighting those that have excelled in maintaining schedules and those that have struggled.

Top Performers in On-Time Performance

Leading the pack is Delta Air Lines, with an impressive on-time percentage of 83.61%. This achievement is underscored by Delta’s commitment to operational efficiency, ensuring that the majority of its 352,592 scheduled flights during this period departed and arrived on time.

Hawaiian Airlines follows closely behind, boasting a commendable on-time percentage of 79.68%, despite managing a smaller fleet compared to larger carriers.

United Airlines and Southwest Airlines also stand out, with on-time percentages of 79.10% and 77.67%, respectively. These airlines have navigated substantial flight volumes—315,462 and 345,868 scheduled flights, respectively—while maintaining a high standard of timeliness.

However, not all airlines have achieved such high marks in punctuality. JetBlue Airways, for instance, faced more significant challenges, achieving an on-time percentage of 70.61% with 60,380 scheduled flights. Frontier Airlines and Spirit Airlines also encountered difficulties, with on-time percentages of 72.03% and 73.13%, respectively.
