Passengers Horrified as Live Snake Discovered on AirAsia Flight

Passengers aboard a Thai AirAsia flight from Bangkok to Phuket Flight experienced a moment of panic when a live snake was discovered inside the Airbus A320 aircraft.

In a video captured by passengers, a flight attendant can be seen attempting to capture the snake first with a water bottle and later with a garbage bag. The snake, later identified as a non-venomous Blanford’s bridle snake, was safely secured in a cupboard until the plane landed, as reported by local media outlets.

Upon landing, Phuket International Airport staffers swiftly boarded the flight, conducting a thorough search of passengers’ carry-on luggage to ensure that no other animals were inadvertently traveling on the plane. AirAsia’s well-trained crew effectively managed the situation, relocating passengers as a precautionary measure.

In a statement released by the airline, it was confirmed that the aircraft landed without incident, and immediate inspections were carried out by relevant engineering and safety teams on the ground. Following standard procedure for such incidents, the plane underwent a deep clean and fumigation before resuming operations, ensuring the safety and well-being of both passengers and crew.
